“A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away.”
~ Barry Goldwater
Wouldn’t Matter If Mohammed And Christ were running “Our, the American People’s” federal government. There would be steady efforts to question and discredit them and run them from government halls. Scandal makes people’s hearts go pitter-patter. Elon Musk helps it all along by calling for NPR to be defunded. Defunded as far as taxpayer money is concerned. Not to be shut down.
“[S]tatism is a system of institutionalized violence and perpetual civil war. It leaves men no choice but to fight to seize political power — to rob or be robbed, to kill or be killed. … Statism survives by looting; a free country survives by production.”
~ Ayn Rand
There Are, Without Doubt, Droves of NPR supporters who sternly believe it’s fine and dandy for NPR to get taxpayer dollars. Might be because they believe NPR can be trusted because NPR is funded by taxpayer dollars. NPR gets taxpayer dollars as part of a revenue stream to keep broadcasting. At issue, partly, is if NPR is objective and truthful, or, tailors news to cast a favorable light on government.
“The only power the government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
~ Ayn Rand
“We, the American People,” arguably, ought have a say how tax dollars are spent. Otherwise, we either don’t live in a free society, or, we don’t care how our tax dollars are spent by people, who have power to exact our dollars through property (wealth) confiscation and other forms of selective, arbitrary, and discriminatory legislation, taxation, and regulation (SADLT&R). Government is biased.
“Now those who seek absolute power, even though they seek it to do what they regard as good, are simply demanding the right to enforce their own version of heaven on earth, and let me remind you they are the very ones who always create the most hellish tyranny.”
~ Barry Goldwater
Evidence Of Government Bias crops up with every legislative office election. Election 2024 was no exception. Presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald J. Trump fought tooth and nail to have lawful SADLT&R power to make their personal attitudes, values, and beliefs (PAVB) lawfully compulsory. NPR would survive on PAVB contribution absent public dollars. Consumers have final say.
“Let me give you a tip on a clue to men’s characters: the man who damns money has obtained it dishonorably; the man who respects it has earned it. Run for your life from any man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper’s bell of an approaching looter.”
~ Ayn Rand
People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators – or other public officials within These United States of America, to permit federal authorities or courts to define or limit their 10th Amendment powers beyond specific Constitutional constraint. They protect self-government by exercising citizen sovereignty.

“No tendency is quite so strong in human nature as the desire to lay down rules of conduct for other people.”
